Join us for a northerly adventure to the stunning Land of Fire and Ice! Every 2nd Sunday of the month, we will staff up Icelandic airspace for your visiting pleasure from 17-20z.
Under the care of our skillful Scandinavian ATC, enjoy beautiful valleys, fjords, and mountaintops as you fly into the many Icelandic, Greenlandic, or Faroese airports under Iceland’s airspace.
Whether you take your favorite heavy-metal airliner into Keflavík (BIKF), Iceland’s major international hub, try a challenging steep approach into Akureyri (BIAR), nestled within the fjords of northern Iceland, or perhaps battle crosswinds and windshear as you receive an AFIS service into Vágar (EKVG), our team of controllers stands ready to assist you.
